Our first Revival Crusade in Andhra Pradesh, India in Dec 2020 was a huge success with 2400 people hearing the gospel and 211 people making decisions for Jesus in the live and local television broadcasts.

TV Broadcast
A local India TV network Vimochannel broadcasted the Revival Crusade in December 2020 & January 2021. No live links so someone kindly recorded a snippet and sent us a few pictures..
Church plant
We're working with our India partners to plant the first Raising Foundations church in India. This requires purchasing a suitable site, building a structure, drilling a borewell to supply fresh water for the community and supporting a pastor for 3 years to help establish the church. We estimate costs to be about £7,200 to bring this to completion. The good news is that there are about 118 believers who want to join the new church following the crusade.
Our partners, Hope India originally chose the crusade grounds by identifying 45-60 villages that had no existing churches. Local pastors could then bring people from there to the crusade grounds, anticipated about 95% would be non-Christian and potentially hearing the gospel for the first time. If sufficient people responded to the gospel, that would allow us to plant a church in this community for people to have fellowship and be able to be discipled, rather than transporting new believers to churches further away.
This is where we found God's miraculous provision as the pastors were searching for a site. One of the testimonies received is from a paddy hall merchant with businesses in 65 of the surrounding villages. His wife was healed from acute arthritis and although he had given his life to Jesus at the crusade, he could not believe she had been healed. For 4 days he continued to ask her and eventually took her to the doctors for further tests. In his words:
"I went to the doctors taking my wife for further tests and they said my wife is perfectly well and the senior doctor is asking we need a case study of my wife as they did not see this cure in other patients"
A week later the businessman saw the pastor and his team looking for a site to do an open air meeting and offered to sell his paddy hall at half the price which can be renovated for a new church. This brings the church plant a considerable step closer as we work to making this a reality.
